Abstrakt

The author researched the issues that midlife men and women are experiencing, describe the midlife issues they face as couples. Then, work on a project of developing a handbook of middle aged couples development for middle aged Chinese Christians. The methodology used for the study, first review literature regarding midlife marriage. Then investigate the lived experience of middle aged couples in a Chinese church. The dissertation concludes with suggestions, which help middle aged Christian couples cope with challenges they are presented with as they transition into midlife, then their marriage will be enriched, enabled them to rebound and grow.
