Abstract
  • The purpose of this project is to teach a small group of church members a method of Bible study that allows them to identify the actions and character of God in Scripture and then use that ability to transform their lives and teaching. The method of Bible study was compiled and then taught to a group of lay church members using classroom presentations, small group practice sessions, and by requiring each participant to prepare and present a Bible study independently. This project demonstrated that average church members can study Scripture independently if church leaders will equip them for the task.
