Abstract
  • Reacting to the attitude that conversion is the major Christian goal, this project examines the parallel emphasis on spiritual growth toward Christian maturity in the New Testament and its theological implications. A seminar presented spiritual growth insights from developmental psychology and encouraged small-group interaction about these concepts to help Christians re-examine their own spiritual progress, develop new understanding of biblical and Christian ideas about spiritual growth, and plan intentionally for their own continuing spiritual growth. Seminar participants reported new insights and plans for spiritual growth, indicating achievement of project goals.
