Abstract
  • This thesis is a systemic view of how some dysfunctions in the Christian church contribute to the abuse of women in the home, and how the Christian church is the best source for helping women be free of abuse in the church and in the home. Dr. Eldin Villafañe's systemic look at social ethics provides the framework. Men and women alike have escaped a biblical understanding of their roles in the church and at home. Sound theological perspective and connected, community relationships in the church provide the best initial steps in solving the problem of abuse of women.
