Abstract
  • Mentoring Ministers in the A.M.E. Zion Church is a project designed to address the lack of ministerial mentorship in the A.M.E. Zion Church. The mentorship program developed through this project is designed to be used by pastors in the A.M.E. Zion Church to assist them in developing ministers under their pastoral leadership. Research was gathered through a five-week evaluation process, interviews, surveys and group discussion which resulted in the creation and implementation of this model mentorship program. The results of the effectiveness of the program varied depending on the seriousness and intentionality of each minister in the program.
