Abstract
  • The purpose of this study is to develop a holistic teaching model designed to be intentionally and simultaneously incorporated into the learning objectives of the educational ministry of the church. This strategy, cooperative learning, which is adopted from secular education, is examined, theologically critiqued, and adapted as a means of improving instruction and interpersonal interaction in the church. Not only are responses given from active Christian teachers, but opinions from selected Christian education writers are shared concerning social dimensions of learning. The culmination of this study is the formation of Christian Education-Cooperative Learning Models for use in the church.
