Abstract
  • The project approached spiritual discernment as an ability every believer can possess and needs to exercise. In equipping believers to exercise discernment, hermeneutical training addressed the divine/human nature of Scripture and provided a model for interpreting Scripture given that nature. Theological training explored the character of God, human free will and divine wrath, the covenant of grace and faith, and the transformational nature of salvation. A model to use in exercising spiritual discernment was developed and practiced. A healthy response to theological diversity was identified.
