Abstract
  • This project was designed to integrate Wesleyan cell groups and pastoral care. The project sought to test the relationship between accountability groups devoted to the practice of classical spiritual disciplines and the development of a supportive community within the group. It sought to determine the relationship between involvement within the group and involvement in the church at large. Methodology included the formation of two groups and testing of ministry involvement before and after the experience. Results were mixed regarding the relationship between group involvement and leadership development. Obvious impact was noted in the relational experience of group members.
