Abstrakt

This project addressed the development and implementation of a leadership model at Dellrose United Methodist Church in Wichita, Kansas. The model utilized a sermon series, church retreat, and a small group Bible study to increase the congregation's ability to be leaders of a transitioning church. Consequences of the analysis indicated a healthy vital church as a result of leadership training related to church retreats, small group Bible study, and sermon series. Results of this model resulted in the leadership transitioning from unhealthy to healthy and vital.
