- Abstract
- Since the Bible has an effect on the general populace of the United States, this project was designed to provide a background and history of the Bible in an academic, non-church setting. The approach was to investigate how the Bible developed from its beginning until today, and then study the culture and geography of the Near East. The course also provided surveys of the various books that are contained in the Bible. The course was well received in this setting, and will be repeated in the fall of 1992.
