Abstract
  • This was a qualitative study researched through interview with ten ministers and their families. The amount of time the minister spent with his family in various ways contributed towards the connectedness the family feels with him. The minister and his wife must set and communicate realistic standards to the children. Teamwork between the parents in approaching tasks in the home, and respecting the volition of the mother lead to the wife and children's sense of the minister supporting the wife. Respect must be shown to all, by all. The conclusion is that the expression of the child's value by the father is the core phenomenon in reaising godly children in a minister's home.
