- Abstract
- Many sociologists and anthropologists have stated that by the decade 2050-2060, there will no longer be a majority culture in America. Although progress has been noted concerning ethnic and racial relationships among America's citizenship, it is also clear that our nation must continue to move forward in breaking down ethnic and racial barriers that still divide. This dissertation proposes that the solution to what still separates one racial or ethnic group from another begins in the multiethnic church through transformational leadership. The multiethnic church or many diverse people, influence, motivated, stimulated and considerate of God's design for humankind, assists in moving the church and ultimately our nation to become the answer to our Lord's prayer in John 17:11: 'Father, make them one as you and I are one.'
