  • Vital signs are diagnostic indicators of health, life, and vitality. This project assesses vital signs of effective multiple-staff ministries or church pastoral teams among Chinese churches in the United States. The project surveyed 30 such churches, selecting 10 for closer scrutiny. Evidence of a healthy, growing, vibrant multiple-staff ministry can be seen through vital signs such as communication, conflict management and resolution, cultural understanding, leadership, longevity of the staff, personality mix, vision, direction, and organization of the staff.
