- Abstract
- This model was developed for the St. Luke Church, a sixty-member congregation in Alliance, Ohio, to pray in a partnership between the minister, the members and the community to regain a renewed sense of purpose for the mission of God. The case study methodology incorporated questionnaires to determine prayer habits and ministry possibilities. Documentation included observations of members at prayer and personal testimonies about answers to prayers. This model has resulted in the individual renewal of some members, a corporate renewal of the membership and has added motivation for engaging in outreach ministries and service.
