- Abstract
- The primary purpose of the project/dissertation is to create an awareness in the churches of the Conference of Mennonites in Canada of pastor-congregation relationships resulting in the involuntary termination of pastors. The material was brought together from interviews with pastors and congregational representatives. The author provides a personal, theological, biblical and historical orientation to the project and suggests an agenda and recommendations toward improved relationships between pastor and people. The Conference is using the material to address concerns of leadership and authority in the local churches.
