- Abstract
- The purpose of this project was to develop an evangelistic sports clinic program to reach young athletes in the city of Neuquen, Argentina. The author distributed a questionnaire among the youth of the city to determine their needs. The author tested and trained a group of eleven sports instructors from the First Baptist Church to implement the project. The posttest indicated an increase in the instructors' commitment to personal evangelism, flexibility in ministry and the use of sports as a viable tool in ministry. The author and instructors designed and produced materials to be used in the sports clinics. The sports clinics were implemented and the materials proved effective.
