Abstract
  • Using descriptive research, this project compares and contrasts the biblical principles, educational theory and training objectives that have guided the formation and development of six missionary training centers in Africa, Asia, and Latin America. The author examines how these centers have adapted their programs to their cultural context, the maturity of their students, and the ministry for which those students are being prepared. He suggests lessons that can be applied to missionary training schools in the West and to new schools that are being developed in the Two-Thirds world.
