Abstract

The purpose of this project was to initiate an ordered practice of spiritual disciplines among a select group of the members of Peachtree Baptist Church in Atlanta, Georgia. The objectives for the project included the personal and spiritual growth of the participants and the beginning of renewal within the congregation. By means of an introductory seminar, twelve weekly group meetings, individual and group study, the individual practice of spiritual disciplines, guided personal spiritual retreats, and a congregational spiritual renewal dinner/dialogue, both the purpose and objectives of this project were realized.
