Abstract
  • This project explores the thesis that reflecting spiritually on nature can deepen our relationship with God. The research project invited participants to take nature photographs and reflect on them with a scripture passage, prayer or devotional thought. Each participant presented their photos and spiritual reflections to a study group for discussion. The result was that participants became aware of God's presence in nature in a new way and grew in their faith, supporting the author's hypothesis that nature photography can serve as a tool for spiritual formation.
