- The purpose of this ministry project was to develop a church camp strategy for the youth ministry of First Baptist Church, Bentonville, Arkansas. The church and youth group have seen significant growth over the last decade ministering to hundreds of students in Bentonville and the surrounding area. First Baptist's desire was to develop a comprehensive six-year church camp strategy that would be sustainable and effective in reaching and growing teenagers for Christ. The doctoral project was divided into three major sections. The first section explored the field of existing youth camp and youth ministry strategies as well as specific research of First Baptist Church, Bentonville, Arkansas. The second section developed the strategy of a church camp ministry with the help of the strategy team from First Baptist Church. The third section evaluated the overall strategy and sought strategy approval from First Baptist Church, Bentonville, Arkansas.
