This project proposes and designs a dispute resolution system for the West Ohio Conference of the United Methodist Church, using principles of pastoral supervision and faith-based conflict resolution. The system includes a comprehensive training program and subsequent ministry of pastoral supervision, and is tested with a pilot group of conflict resolution consultants. The research demonstrates the effectiveness of the system in assisting churches and church staffs in resolving conflicts.
