Abstract
  • This thesis was written with the purpose of vitalizing the class meetings of Korean churches. 'Gae chuck sok hui' (planting class meeting) begins with one leader who forms his own class meeting. Touching on etymological, biblical and church theological influences, Hwa Cheon First Church was the subject of research. The findings show that after 'gae church sok hui' were instituted, there were significant changes in the church, including positive attitudes among the class leaders, increase in number of members, doubling of special offerings, to the maturity of leaders who brought many disenfranchised people back to church by caring anfd sharing of love and faith.
