Abstract
  • The purpose of the project was to equip a ministry team from Lakeshore Baptist in the style of evangelism found in the early church. The project consisted of nine sessions. The session topics were: pretest and introduction, evangelism in the early church, videos on evangelism, personal evangelism and role-playing, the role of the holy Spirit in evangelism, worldwide evangelism, simplicity of the message, persecution to be expected, and post-test and evaluation. The comparison between scores of the pretest and post-test revealed a 45 percent improvement. The evaluations by the participants, project director, field mentor, and the church's approval of the ministry team demonstrated the project's effectiveness.
