Abstract
  • This project began by struggling with two questions: Are there characteristics, practices and skills that pastors of growing congregations in the Presbyterian Church (USA) share? If so how do we identify and develop them? The ultimate goal of this project is to answer those questions and to describe more fully what it means to move from merely being a manager to becoming a transformational leader of a growing congregation in the PCUSA-information that I am convinced will be vital for both pastors and congregations alike.
