  • Christians in all generations struggle with how to engage persons of other religions. This project explores the struggle from the vantage point of a full-time prison chaplain. The project includes a brief history of prison chaplaincy as well as literature review. Data gathered in fieldwork is processed through a pretribulational, literal millennial perspective of Scripture. The project culminates with a written handbook entitled 'A Chaplain's Prison Jacket,' designed to help train and equip prison chaplains in two key areas: overseeing diverse religious freedom, and how to develop a safety and security mindset.
