Abstract
  • This project proposes, develops, and implements a six-session series of classes in which adult children of aging parents can learn and apply skills to help their parents and themselves to understand practical and theological aspects of aging and dying and to make decisions about physical care and psychological, emotional, and spiritual well-being. Participants explore the demographics of aging, emotional issues confronted by older persons and their caregivers, and a psychological framework and theological foundation in which to meet the spiritual challenges of aging.
