Abstract
  • When a member of the Korea Evangelical Holiness Church is divorced, he must resign his church office. This project examines how the church should treat divorced persons. Using current literature and especially from the Bible and church history, the project conducts interviews with selected persons and compares regulations on marriage and divorce among various denominations, in order to formulate a new theology of marriage and divorce for KEHC and other denominations for the 1990s. The project seeks to move the Korean Church out of legalism into grace.
