Abstract
  • The goal of this project was to effect a verifiable and significant increase in the group average of the self-concept of adults as measured by the Total P score of the Tennessee Self-concept Scale. Classes were held twice a week. Each class was one and one-half hours long. The author used the pre-test/post-test method of measuring results. The class covered the forming of self-concepts, feelings, attitudes and cognitive aspects of rational thinking. It used the Bible to get a clear understanding of the positive way that God views man. The results verified that the total group average was increased.
