Abstract
  • The purpose of the project was to increase the attendance in the midweek corporate prayer meeting. The context was the Saint Paul Baptist Church, Capitol Heights, Maryland. Design was qualitative and quantitative involving four test churches of varying size and denomination. The field test churches were engaged in teaching, preaching and prayer activities over the course of twelve weeks. Pre- and post assessment tools were administrated. Data analysis revealed that the increase activities had a direct correlation to increase attendance and participation in corporate prayer. The leadership of the pastor had a strong impact on the positive outcome.
