The purpose of the project is to enhance the project director's narrative preaching skills in order to address the awareness of the congregation of First Baptist Chruch, Edmond, Oklahoma (FBCE) of biblical redemptive history in the Old Testament. The first step involves researching and addressing the awareness of the congregations understanding of biblical redemptive history. The second step involves enhancing the project director's skills in preaching Old Testament narratives. The research will include gleaning insight based in preaching Old Testament narratives. The project director will develop a sermon series from selected Old Testament narratives incorporating the common components necessary to address congregational awareness of biblical redemptive history.
