Abstrait

The purpose of the project was to equip Single Adult Ministry LIFE group leaders and teachers at First Baptist Church, Spartanburg, South Carolina, to care effectively for members who experience depression after divorce. The project director studied current research and methodology for treatment of depression and compiled an annotated bibliography of his research. He studied divorce and its long-term spiritual and emotional effects. He used his research of divorce and depression to train LIFE group leaders to recognize and respond biblically to signs of depression in LIFE group members. He studied curriculum development in order to plan and lead the training sessions. The project concluded with the project director leading the workshop sessions in order to equip single adult LIFE group leaders and teachers to care for members who experience depression after divorce.
