Abstract
  • Can a church be brought back from the brink of extinction to become a vital congregation by a three-year plan of pastoral leadership, connectional support, and a congregation's determination? The answer is a resounding yes. This project includes two parts. The first part is a case study of a new pastor and an older congregation working together with the Holy Spirit to turn around a fifty year decline in attendance. The second part is a practical theology of the Holy Spirit and church growth.
