Abstract

The purpose of this project was to equip selected young married couples of the First Baptist Church of Alexander City, Alabama, in principles of personal financial management. This was accomplished through researching principles of personal financial management and developing a program to train and equip selected young married couples of the First Baptist Church of Alexander City, Alabama, in principles of personal financial management. Many equipping models are available for equipping in personal financial management, but the project director utilized research in the field and the existing models to synthesize a creative new approach specific for the First baptist Church of Alexander City, Alabama. The training program consisted of six sessions covering principles of personal financial management.
