Abstract
  • The purpose of this project is to introduce a way of transitioning a church from a church growth movement attractional model into a missional church. The author researched the church growth movement and the growing idea of the missional church. He also researched small groups and decided to create and use a small group study as the main transitional vehicle. After going through the study, the author concluded the study was successful in beginning the missional transition, but he also discovered the transition is a slow process that should not be rushed.
