Abstract
  • With the assistance of the congregation's Stephen ministers, the author designed, presented, and evaluated a four-week preaching and teaching event around the season of Epiphany. The author utilized Vyhmeister's Quality research papers, chapter 13, to create a 'Program development model' as a form of research. The event included coordinated Sunday school classes, morning worship, and Bible study, all based on the lectionary passages for Epiphany. Evaluations showed the members of the congregation increased in knowledge of, understanding of, and interest in Epiphany as well as other liturgical seasons.
