Abstract
  • This project researched the changed role of the priest at eucharist after Vatican II. It articulated the characteristics of contemporary presidency at eucharist. The author designed, implemented and evaluated a five-day workshop on the topic for Roman Catholic priests. The workshop included lectures, audio-visual critique and small group interaction among the participants. The project demonstrated the need for continuing liturgical formation among Roman Catholic clergy. It concluded that the presidency of the eucharist is in need of a new paradigm, namely, leadership in ecclesial intimacy.
