  • The project maintains the thesis that while united marital prayer is beneficial to marriages, a large percentage of Christian couples do not pray together. The purpose of the project was to instruct married couples in such a way that they would be encouraged and equipped to improve their prayer life as a couple. This would be accomplished by writing a manual entitled, Learning to Pray With Your Partner, and using it in a marriage retreat and seminar setting to instruct and encourage couples. After participating in the project, married couples evidenced a significant improvement in their practice of united prayer.
