Abstract
  • This study examines the correlation between an expectation and a level of satisfaction with pastoral counseling. The results of the study indicate that how clients perceive the pastoral aspect of their counseling has bearing on how they experience satisfaction with their counseling. Results of the survey supported the hypothesis that those who come with high expectations about explicit religious content will report higher satisfaction with the counseling they receive than those who come with low expectations.
