Abstract

The purpose of the project was to help adult church members assume their role and responsibility in the corporate worship experience at First Baptist Church, Raceland, Louisiana. Corporate worship was considered vital to the entire ministry of the local church. During the project, a four-week sermon series focused on the nature and function of worship. A twelve-week worship seminar developed the role and responsibility of corporate worshippers. The conclusion of the project was that adult members could be trained to assume their role and responsibility in corporate worship.
