- Abstract
- By this major project, the author, who is a pastor of a small Romanian Pentecostal church, takes a stand against practices of surrogate evangelism present in many small ethnic churches and tries to determine his congregation to adopt a biblically sound understanding of growth. He preaches a series of sermons and measures the effect of the preaching through two surveys: one conducted before preaching, and the other after the preaching. The survey comparison reveals that a substantial re-orienting of the church growth approach has occurred, and the path towards a vibrant future is opened for the small Romanian church.
