Abstract
  • The purpose of this project is to provide a multiethnic church planting strategy for First Baptist Church, Duluth, Georgia (FBCD). The North American Mission Board asked FBCD to assist as a multiplying church by facilitating church plants through the Send North America initiative, particularly the region surrounding Atlanta, Georgia. A church planter must consider all the various ethnic groups represented throughout his target area to determine how to reach them with the gospel. The project director will research various church planting strategies, especially those strategies targeted toward multiethnic communities. Secondly, the project will examine the ethnic makeup for a potential church plant in Duluth, Georgia, utilizing a community demographic analysis.
