Abstract
  • The purpose of this project was to impact the level of interpersonal transparency through participation in a formational counseling group. The focus of the project was for participants to learn how to incorporate transparency into their daily lives through various teachings, practicing accountability, communicating true feelings, developing a deeper intimacy with God, and experiencing formational prayer. The author assessed the goals by using a rating scale. Data indicated that transparency was impacted significantly. The statements, 'I am not afraid to express my true feelings' increased by a significant +1.50 and 'I understand the importance of transparency' increased by +1.71.
