  • This project proposes that formal, constructive responses from a congregation can help a preacher improve the correlation between what is preached and what is heard. The project prepares and preaches four different kinds of sermons, and those who hear them respond with oral and written evaluations. Comparison between the preacher's intentions and the listeners' evaluations indicates that the intention and purpose of sermons is in fact being heard.
