Abstract
  • The thesis proposes Mary Magdalene as a model of the consciousness-raising of leadership in women of an evangelical church. The context of the project is the 'Iglesia Filadelfia en el Ecuador' (Philadelphia Church in Ecuador) -- IFE. The research uses a threefold method: biblical -- the New Testament; theological -- the doctrine of the universal priesthood of all believers; and typological -- the contextual ethic of the church and its environment. The results depict both the validity of the model of Mary Madgalene when applied to the IFE with possibilities of applying it to other churches and to expand the matters of this thesis.
