  • This project explores the role of black churches in the economic liberation of their members and the African American community in the face of an economic paradigm shift. Economic liberation happens as a positive flow of money in a community that empowers both individuals and society through ministry that is holistic and transformational. A 'faith-based' community development corporation can, through quality management, discover new alternatives that work on behalf of the poor to realize the concept of the beloved community.
