Abstrakt

This project aimed to equip worship ministry team members at Fifth Street Baptist Church in Key West, Florida, in selected spiritual disciplines. I accomplished this project through three goals. First, I researched the field of spiritual disciplines and the worship ministry, examining the literature related to the disciplines that support a church’s worship ministry. From this study, I determined specific spiritual disciplines to be essential to the worship ministry of a church. Subsequently, I studied curriculum design and created lessons based on the results from the research phase of the project. Finally, I implemented the curriculum to equip worship ministry team members of Fifth Street Baptist Church in selected spiritual disciplines. Experts evaluated the selected disciplines and the designed curriculum before I implemented them. I measured the results from this project by having students engage in a pretest and posttest during both workshop sessions.
