- This project proposes and implements a program to celebrate Advent in a Southern Baptist congregation, combining in-home family devotions with Sunday morning worship experiences. The project prepares a devotional guide in the form of a fictional narrative to be used in family devotions; conducts a seminar to train and motivate church members to participate in Advent; plans and conducts four Sunday morning Advent services and one Christmas Eve service; and prepares and delivers an Advent sermon at each of these worship services.
