This thesis seeks to legitimatize the practice of using hymns to preach biblical doctrone. Its content includes the Bible's use of music in worship, celebration, and teaching. Both Moses and the Apostle Paul commanded that music be used in teaching doctrinal truth because of music's affect on the human mind, emotions, and memory.
