Abstracto

The author served as a missionary to Taiwan for the Lutheran Church - Missouri Synod from 1964 to 1973. He returned to the United States where he developed a storefront mission into a congregation of 600. In 1987 he returned to the Orient and visited churches in Mainland China and Taiwan. He returned to the States to develp a mission 'from scratch' in Topeka, Kansas. These experiences and travels along with the application of significant church growth principles and insights form the basis of the strategies he found useful in developing a new mission congregation.
