Abstract
  • The project's thesis is that the traditional formulation of the doctrine of spirit-filling is skewed in its construction and application by its deductive methodology. The project contends that formulating the doctrine through an inductive study of relevant terms and texts leads to an alternative model, one that is different than that which is popularly taught. The project shows that spirit-filling is not a subjective experience to be sought to achieve greater piety or power. It is the birthright of every believer enabling him to glorify God through the preaching of the gospel.
